Washington, DC, September 30, 1998 -- Pubnet LLC, developers of the pioneering web-based e-commerce system that links booksellers, publishers and suppliers, today announced that IDG Books Worldwide (IDGB) is now fully accessible to Pubnet members through the Pubnet ordering systems, PUBNET^® and Pubnet 2000. Starting immediately, IDGB can receive orders through the Pubnet systems from Pubnet LLC’s over 3,000 bookstore customers. IDG Books joins the almost 100 publishing companies that are presently accessible to the Pubnet community. Over 50% of the publishing industry’s textbook revenues are processed through the PUBNET and Pubnet 2000. Over 90% of all materials in print are available through the Pubnet services.
