J. A. Majors Signs on With PUBNET® and Pubnet 2000TM
Addition of Largest Medical Book Distributor Brings More Ordering Choices to Pubnet Customers

Washington, DC, October 20, 1998 -- 1998-Pubnet LLC, the developer of the pioneering e-commerce system that links booksellers, publishers and suppliers, and J. A. Majors announced that starting immediately, J. A. Majors customers can order books through the Internet-based Pubnet 2000 ordering system. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, J. A. In related news, Rittenhouse Book Distributors, a Pennsylvania-based medical book distributor, became a Pubnet 2000 vendor in June 1998. Like J. A. Majors, Rittenhouse joined the Pubnet system to offer Internet-based ordering to its customers that want to automate and streamline the book ordering process.

Pubnet members also began placing orders from IDG Books Worldwide through the Pubnet system last month.
